We have seen a backpack boat. Today you will see another flolding kayak. Of course, accessing that body of water can be an adventure if you have to tie the kayak onto the roof of the car and maneuver in traffic. But the Folbot Edisto's Folding kayak kit($1,795) that can be folded and carried easily. It features weighs 24 pounds and takes about 10 minutes to assemble. If you folded and put into its storage bag, just 3 feet long. Unfolded, it is 13 feet long and can hold up to 210 pounds, with a roomy cockpit size of 30-by-16 inches.
