Forget about getting a folding kayak kit and pick up a Folbot Edisto. Folding Kayak Kits may save you some money, but you will never have to worry about water getting in with a Folbot folding kayak. Also what you build will probably not be easy to assemble. Assembly with a Folbot is a breeze because all cross frames are accessible, and conversion from one configuration to the next is also a snap. Hey but if you want to get your hands dirty we all for it too! We like the Edisto because it is the most versatile and accommodating Folbot boat and has an open cockpit with room for your kids, dog or gear. There are two optional EXP packages choose from, with a mini deck or full deck, allow for paddling in more adventurous conditions. The Fish 'n Photo package, with its outrigger system, converts the Edisto into an ultra-stable platform from which to stand and cast or shoot award winning photos. The Edisto comes standard with one paddle, one seat, foot pegs, carrying bags and starts from a price of $1,795.
